South America Marathons - Which One Will Inspire You?

For the beach comber, there is no better race to attend than the Marathon Bahamas. The 26.2 mile route is surrounded by beautiful stretches of ocean views and white sand. People from all around the world, and all levels of experience, love the friendly atmosphere and easy-going feel of the Marathon Bahamas!

Or, for a mix of mountain views and ocean, the Easter Island Marathon is a perfect choice. Located in Chile, after the marathon is done, try your hand at snorkeling and surfing. It is an adventurer's paradise. 

For the flat and fast runner, the Maraton Movistar Lima is an excellent choice. See the downtown sites of Lima the best way possible, all on foot. Race alongside people who come internationally to make their way toward the finish line!

South America is a vast continent with a plethora of sites to see and rich cultures to experience. Whatever it is that inspires you to run can be found in in one of the many South American Marathons! Find the one that lends you inspiration, and make this your year to travel!

The currencies of South America include  the Argentine peso, The Brazilian real, the Columbian peso, the Bolivian boliviano, the Chilean peso, the Paraguayan gurani, the Guyanese dollar, the Surinamese dollar, the US dollar, the Peruvian Nuevo sol and the Uruguay peso. Make sure to investigate which currency to use before you travel
