The race course was designed to showcase many of the focal points of this amazing destination including quaint and scenic downtown Nassau with it’s historic buildings, the glitz and glamour of Paradise Island, the business districts, exciting Cable Beach and the life of the residents hugging the northern shore of the Island.With the lure of a big city and the ease of tropical utopia, Nassau is considered by many, including runners – Paradise! Come join us for the marathon, half or relay – all along the northern, picturesque shoreline.
Course details
The marathon starts at Arawak Cay (west of downtown Nassau) heading east through downtown Nassau via Woodes Rodgers Wharf and existing on east Street to Bay Street. Route continues east to Montagu Beach (exit) making a turnaround at Montague Beach (entrance). The course loops west returning to downtown passing the starting line area, hugging the northern shores of Cable Beach, Delaporte and West Bay Street with the turnaround in the Gambier Village area. The dramatic finish is via the eastern entrance of Western Esplanade – ocean front!

Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. If you need someone else to pick up your race packet at the packet pickup, he or she will need a photocopy of your driver’s license or some other photo ID.
How do I get to the race location?
Getting to Nassau is relatively easy with service from Panama City, Atlanta, NYC, London, Kingston, Orlando, Turks and Caicos, Miami, Toronto, Charlotte, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington DCA, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Newark, Dulles, and Ft. Lauderdale. Airlines servicing Nassau are: Air Canada, American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Sunwing, United, Western Airlines, Copa, Delta, Frontier, Inter Caribbean, British Airways, Southwest, JetBlue, and Bahamasair.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fee is non—refundable and non—transferable.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. The time limit for the half marathon, marathon, and marathon relay is 6 hours. The time limit is a safety issue and applies to both runners and walkers alike. The roads on the course can only be closed for the allotted time frame.
May I wear my headphones?
Yes, as long as they don’t interfere with your ability to follow instructions from race staff, police and race volunteers, interfere with your ability to compete safely, or interfere with other participants. Race staff reserves the right to disqualify you from the race and remove you from the race course.
Are baby strollers/joggers allowed on the course?
NO. In order to ensure the safety of all our participants and provide a fair race to everyone, baby strollers/joggers are not permitted on the race course.
