Join Guayaquil Marathon 2025
The Guayaquil Marathon is the most important athletic event in the country, it is held every year since 2005 on the first Sunday of October for the city's October festivities, thanks to the support of M.I. Guayaquil Municipality. The Guayaquil Marathon is certified by World Athletics and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The marathon has four distances; 5K,12K, 21K and 42K. The runners enrolled in the 12K, 21K and 42K distances leave from the 5 de Junio Bridge towards Av. 9 de Octubre, the runners registered in the 5K distance leave in front of the other exits towards Av. Carlos Julio Arosemena.
