Join Key West Half Marathon 2025
Race through Key West’s historic Old Town and waterfront areas mid January, during the annual Key West Half Marathon. Set to begin at 7 a.m., the sporting challenge takes place on a flat, fast 13.1-mile half-marathon course in the scenic island city. The 5K Run will follow right after the start of the Half Marathon.
More than half of the flat, out-and-back course runs on the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail, directly overlooking the aqua blue Atlantic Ocean.
In pure Key West fashion, packet pickup and the race expo take place inside the Half Shell Raw Bar, one of the island’s most popular seafood spots. You’ll want to stop back in after the race—it’s within walking distance of the finish—to celebrate with a plate of chilled oysters and a cocktail (or two).
Course details
The half marathon course has you run past some of the most iconic places in Key West! You'll run up Duval Street, past the Southernmost Point and along beautiful Smathers Beach. The finish line is right by the Half Shell Raw Bar and there will be plenty of refreshments waiting for you there!
The 5K course has you running down the main road in Key West; Duval Street! Packed with bars, restaurants, tons of great shops, and did we mention the 400 bars?
New to 2025, we will be adding a10K Run on Saturday!

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The event expo will take place outside of the Half Shell Raw Bar located at 231 Margaret Street on Friday and Saturday. The hours are: → Friday, January 16th from 3:00PM until 6:00PM. → Saturday, January 17th from 12:00PM until 6:00PM. We will also offer limited packet pick-up (pre-registered participants only) on race morning from 5:00AM until 6:15AM.
Race day Registration ?
