HALONG BAY HERITAGE MARATHON - SUPER FLAT, charming, flawlessly beautiful course running through 2 world natural heritage bays of Vietnam's peaceful city in Southeast Asia in the most beautiful weather of the year, autumn and winter.
The race started in 2015 and offers a wide range of distance options: 42 km Full Marathon, 21 km Half Marathon, 10 km and 4.2km Fun Run.
The running coursehas been designed on the most beautiful coastal boulevard in Vietnam, passing through and connecting two heritage bays, Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay to provide a spectacular view to the magnificent landscape of Halong Bay, one of the world natural heritages internationally recognized by UNESCO. The route continues through picturesque spots of mountains and coastal lines along the bay and beautiful fishing villages, with the Start and Finish Line at Quang Ninh Museum Library – an honored architectural work.
Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province, Vietnam, a very beautiful country at South East Asia) is formed by about 2000 islands of all sizes in the middle of the beautiful ocean, Halong bay is considered a cradle of culture of enormous biodiversity and archeological value. The race will certainly be an experience which cannot be resisted by any travel-lover, in Halong Bay, a place dubbed as “Heaven on Earth” as vote by the mot famous running magazine "Runner's World UK".
Course details
A most spectacular route has been chosen as the ideal racing course in Halong Bay which sets it apart from other marathons. Run alongside elite athletes and spend a glorious days in this magnificent bay. The 21-km track has been selected for the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon held in Quang Ninh next November with international participants from all around the world. On that breath-taking route, runners will have the unique chance to see stunning attractions of one beautiful Vietnam.
Kilometer signs can be found along the entire route. Owing to the conditions, however, they may be placed +/- meters from the exact point. The signs are therefore only for orientation and runners shouldn't calculate speed based on the signs.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Any distance change is accepted when the request is made before the deadline. The runner will have to pay the difference of the registration fee for the running distance, in case the new distance has a higher registration fee than that of the original race, and the balance will not be refunded if the new distance has a fee below that of the original distance.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
Runners will not get refund of the registration fee should the race be cancelled/delayed under any reason.
