The Carmel Marathon Weekend is set to celebrate its 15th year in 2025. As one of the premier qualifiers for the Boston Marathon, it is renowned for its fast pace and perfect running conditions.
Join us in Carmel, Indiana, which has been recognized as one of the best small town suburbs in the US. Our distinctive race-day setup allows all race distances to start and finish at the same location! This configuration lets participants gather, prepare, and begin together, making it easy to reconnect at the finish line. Marathon and half-marathon runners will take off from the south two lanes, while 10K and 5K participants use the north two lanes on City Center Boulevard. The lanes are divided by a grassy median for 300 yards, after which the courses diverge. All official activities for the start/finish will take place by the Palladium Music Center at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and City Center Drive. We offer free parking, a beer garden, and much more. We invite you to be part of this exciting event!
Course details
The start and finish line are located just north of the Palladium at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and City Center Drive (starting East on City Center Drive). It takes participants along some of the major streets and allows them to take in highlights along the course before returning to the finish line.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Expo: 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. 502 East Event Centre 502 E. Carmel Drive All runners must pick up their packets at the expo. There will be no packet pickup on race day.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.
