The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2025 is Vietnam’s first and only marathon to receive the World Athletics Label Road Race, confirming its status as a top-tier international event. Recognized by Runner’s World UK as one of the Top 50 most beautiful marathon courses worldwide, the race is set against the iconic backdrop of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Designed for speed, the course is fast, flat, and fully closed, supported by ideal November weather. These conditions have consistently delivered outstanding Personal Record results, making HBHM one of the most performance-oriented marathons in the region.
In 2025, HBHM welcomed 14,000 runners, including 3,000 international participants from 70 countries, and featured the participation of Olympic silver medalist Lee Bong-ju, further reinforcing its international prestige and appeal.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
After signing the waiver (sent by email within 1 month before the event date), you will receive a QR code for collect your Race kit. Pickup time and location will be announced on our Facebook Fanpage and Website.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. You can authorize someone to collect your race pack on your behalf. They must present these documents: - Online authorization form - Your QR code (receive once signing the waiver) - Their ID document - Photo of your ID document For runners under 16, additional documents are required, including the signed Waiver Form, a copy of the birth certificate, the legal guardian's ID, and proof of guardianship (if applicable).
How do I get to the race location?

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Any distance change is accepted when the request is made before the deadline. The runner will have to pay an extra fee of 300,000 VND and the difference of the registration fee for the running distance, in case the new distance has a higher registration fee than that of the original race, and the balance will not be refunded if the new distance has a fee below that of the original distance.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Runners will not get refund of the registration fee should the race be cancelled/delayed under any reason. After completing registration and fee payment, runners cannot ask for refunds relating to the registration for any reason. In case of unfavorable weather or unforeseen circumstances, ROC will notify the runners of the cause before the Race day. ROC can delay the event and are responsible for notifying the runners of the date to which the event is delayed.
