Join Roadford Lake Swim - Autumn 2025
The Roadford Lake Swim returns for its fourth year, and for 2025, we're adding extra buoys to make it easier for swimmers to sight.
We've also moved the swims to Saturday afternoon, ensuring ample parking and a large area for swimmers to leave their bags. This change will also help us stay on schedule, with no chance of triathlon swims causing delays.
Roadford Lake is a fantastic swimming venue where swimming is normally not allowed! Lakeside camping is also available if you’d like to turn it into a weekend adventure, though bookings are made separately via South West Lakes, with a minimum stay of two nights. The shorter swims are ideal for open water beginners or younger children.
The swim course consists of 750m and 1250m laps: the 1500m swim is two laps, the 2.5k is two laps, and the 5k is four laps. New this autumn is a 500m swim.
