Join Exmoor Beast 2026
We are hosting the Exmoor Beast with three fabulous routes: the 100-mile Exmoor Beast, the 65-mile Exmoor Beauty, and the 42-mile Exmoor Breeze. All three routes include the iconic (and super tough) climb of Dunkery Beacon, the highest point in Exmoor and Somerset.
The start and finish are at Wimbleball Lake, where camping is available.
All routes are fully signed and supported with quality feed stations, outriders, mechanics, and medics. The sportive includes electronic chip timing, giving you an official completion time, along with a bronze, silver, or gold finisher’s medal awarded according to your performance.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Sorry, we are not able to offer refunds as we start to incur costs as soon as we announce an event. However we now offer free name changes up to 7 days before an event.
Are ebikes allowed to be used at your events?
We allow ebikes at all our cycling events, except for the Exeter Gravel Races which are classified as races under British Cycling rules. ebikes are also allowed at all our triathlon and aquabike events as we are keen to make our events as inclusive as possible. We just ask you to let us know that you are riding an ebike.
Are there age restrictions on your sportives?
You need to be 15 or over to take part in any of the sportives unaccompanied. We do allow younger children to take part accompanied by an adult.
