Join Dartmouth Triathlon 2025
The Dartmouth Triathlon is back for another year, offering participants an exciting and challenging race. The event begins with a breathtaking swim in the crystal-clear waters of Blackpool Sands. After completing the swim, athletes will transition to the bike portion of the race, embarking on a scenic out and back ride that passes through Slapton and showcases Devon's flattest road. The race concludes with a picturesque out and back run along the stunning Blackpool Valley Road, which runs parallel to a gentle stream and gradually ascends towards the turnaround point. This year, organizers have implemented a second 'bike drop' transition on the opposite side of the A379, eliminating the need to cross the road during the race. This change has allowed the inclusion of the beautiful Blackpool Valley Road run, which was previously unfeasible.

Does Race pass mandatory for Overseas residents?
Overseas residents can not purchase a Race Pass. Overseas residents are exempt from becoming a member of the sport and holding a race licence when taking part in a British Triathlon permitted event. However, to take part in a British Triathlon permitted event, overseas residents must have their own Public Liability insurance (sometimes referred to as personal liability insurance) in place for the duration of the race the individual is taking part in. The recommended minimum level of cover is £5 million. By entering a British Triathlon permitted event, overseas residents do so confirming that they will have Public Liability insurance in place for the duration of the race they are taking part in. Proof of valid Public Liability insurance may be requested at the event and in the case of any subsequent third-party claims.
