BIKE
Our bike course guides you through the city's boulevards, exclusively reserved for the race. Featuring lengthy straight stretches to rev up the velocity and sweeping bends for that extra thrill, you can unleash your full potential, soaring to remarkable speeds of up to 50 km/h. This electrifying track will put your abilities to the test, guaranteeing an unparalleled sense of achievement and pushing your limits to the max.
RUN
Our run course takes you through the central area, on the side walks, where you'll be able to enjoy the refreshing shade of the park alleys. Our enthusiastic volunteers will be there to keep you hydrated and motivated, while supporters will have plenty of opportunities to cheer you on and help you push through to the finish line. With a supportive community and a scenic course, you'll be able to conquer this leg of the triathlon with confidence and enthusiasm.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
The transfer fee between races is 50 lei and can only be done with reason, at the latest until the registration closing date. If a transfer to a shorter race distance is desired, the difference will not be refunded.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
In case of non-participation, the fee is non-refundable. Registrations are not transferable, but in special situations (emergency / injury / motivated inability to participate), the registration can be transferred to another person. The transfer cannot be made after the closing of registrations and a transfer fee of 50 lei will be charged. The same rule applies to changing the position of a participant from one race distance to another. In case of switching from a race distance with a higher entry fee to one with a lower entry fee, the difference is not refunded. No changes will be possible after registration closes.
I need a licence from the triathlon federation?
If you participate individually, the answer is YES, you need a license and if you don't have it, you won't be able to participate in the competition. We recommend that you get your license in time, so that you don't have any surprises. You can apply for the annual license or for one race, online, on the federation's website. If you participate in a relay race, you do NOT need a license. If you want to score in the National Triathlon Circuit, the license must be annual.
What bikes are allowed?

What equipment do I need for the bike course?
We assume that you already have the right bike for the race you signed up for (see the previous question). It must be perfectly functional, so as not to endanger your safety or that of those around you. First of all, it must have functional brakes. Other aspects you have to take care of would be: the levers must not be damaged, you must have plugs at the end of the handlebars, you must not have artisanal devices on the bike, etc. When handing over the bike in transition area, before the race, a technical official will check its technical condition (a kind of technical inspection). If it does not correspond technically, you won't be able to compete with it. You also need a bike helmet which will be checked when entering transition area. Wearing a bike helmet is mandatory for the entire duration of the bike course.. Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification.
