Moor 2 Sea
Join Moor 2 Sea 2025
The Moor to Sea Sportive, running since 2012, is back for 2025. After three years of challenging weather in early October, we’ve moved the event to May, promising better conditions.
Riders can choose from three routes: the Inspire (short) route covers 36 miles (57 km) with approximately 2,444 ft (745 m) of ascent. The Challenge (medium) route spans 64 miles (103 km) with around 5,600 ft (1,700 m) of ascent. For the most daring, the Extreme (long) route stretches 110 miles (177 km) with 10,000 ft (3,000 m) of ascent, including gradients up to 20%. Be prepared—each route ends with a tough climb. If professionals were racing, it would be a ‘puncheur’s’ course, perfect for riders like Julian Alaphilippe or Philippe Gilbert in his prime.
We award gold, silver, and bronze medals based on finishing times, and the Extreme and Challenge routes feature a King/Queen of the Mountains Segment Challenge on the iconic Haytor Hill Climb.

Domande Frequenti
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
The Registration Fee is NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstance.
Do you allow ebikes at your road sportives?
Yes we do. However we cannot guarantee charging on course so make sure your battery life is sufficient for the distance you have chosen.
What is better about a road bike?
Road bikes, as the name suggests, are designed for use on the road. They typically have a more aggressive, more aerodynamic position, dropped handlebars and smooth relatively narrow tyres. A gravel bike fitted with slick (ie smooth tyres) will be almost as good. A chunkier full-suspension mountain bike with knobbly tyres will slow you down considerably.
