If you want to rent a car to drive around Sweden you have to be a minimum of 18 years old. You also have to have had a license for more than two years in your country of origin.

Sweden is the 18th safest place in the world, so you don't have to be as careful when selecting where to stay as you would other foreign countries.

May to September are the best times to travel to Sweden. Although you can see amazing sites year round, if you travel during the winter, the weather can get really cold. If you want to see the Northern Lights while traveling, late September to early April are the best times to visit Sweden.

The Swedish Krona is the official currency of Sweden. You can not use the Euro around Sweden.

To travel to Sweden you will need specific documentation. Although when traveling from the US a visa is not needed unless you want to stay 90 days or more.
