Join Half Marathon Douro Verde 2025
The lush green region of Baião, in Portugal, is welcoming you to its 21km Half Marathon, organised by the Ribadouro Nautical Club, EVENTSPORT and PORTOCARGO Runners. The Douro Verde Half Marathon aims to stimulate sports as an element of promoting health and quality of life.
You will also have the option of a 10km Walk.
Baião is the municipality with the highest percentage of green area and forest in the entire district of Porto (63.5 percent of the territory) and has in its territory natural resources of rare beauty, such as Serra da Aboboreira, Serra do Marão, the Serra do Castelo de Matos or the Douro, Teixeira and Ovil rivers.
