The notorious Dyfi 13km swim and trail run is pushing the boundaries of aquathlon. Participants will embark on a breathtaking journey along the scenic Wales Coast Path, swimming the Dyfi estuary before conquering a stunning 13km trail run back to Aberdyfi.
In this unique aquathlon event, you have the opportunity to change into your running gear at transition. We've got you covered - your drop bag will be transported to the end of the swim, and your swim kit will be safely transported back to the finish line.
Originating in 2017, the Dyfi Aquathlon has quickly gained a reputation as a captivating race. It takes you on an incredible tidal swim journey.

Water temperature
Water temperature at the start will be around 17 degrees, and around 15/16 degrees at the finish.
PREREQUISITE
Able to swim at 3km/h for 2 hrs 30 mins in open water. The prerequisite is in place because of the tidal nature of this committing swim.
