Melbourne is a really cool city to run a Marathon. This event is pretty flat and covers some of the most iconic landmarks we have. The downside is the loooooong out & back stretch along St. Kilda Rd - it seems endless. Great to finish the race on the iconic MCG!
This was my 2nd Marathon event. It was an unusually hot day for October which left many runners without enough hydration. There were casualties! Overall a good marathon which just gets bigger over time |
