The Samoa International Marathon is on the beautiful island of Savai’i on a new course. The course is Point to Point for all distances. The finish line is at the heart of the Savai’i tourism-belt in the beautiful village of Manase. There are a variety of accommodation for all tastes and budget right here.

Course details
Marathon - Starts at the historical village of Sapapali’i. This is where the missionaries that brought Christianity to Samoa landed on 24th August, 1830. The course is flat and coastal for the first 20km and back on the coast for the final 6km. The inland part, 20-36km has some slight hills and long stretches of rural road. Starts in the dark. Mandatory vehicle support for all marathon runners.
Half Marathon - starts at the Pu’apu’a village wilderness after the road leaves the coast. There are long straights and a few hills in the first 10km. There is a long downhill to the Lava fields, the rest of the run, 6km is on the coast.
