Where does running take you next?

This is a great event to run in China. Very well organised, friendly crowd and a course you can run fast times on if you’re in form. Everything from the Expo to the race stat and finish was perfect. The main thing to note that I didn’t see anywhere is that liquids are not allowed in the start pens, so if like me you tend to bring your own you won’t be allowed to take it in course. Gatorade and water were the drinks offered on the route at regular intervals. The medal was huge and weighs a ton. Highly recommend this event. A great city to visit and a good marathon to run.

Such a unique event! I have never experienced a more organically enjoyable running event! The local community was out in full force to cheer all of us runners on, along with a collection of musicians along the route. The kit was generous and creative, and the organisation was really fantastic. Excellent Cretan cuisine and a festival atmosphere await you at the finish. Really amazing experience!

Una organizzazione fantastica, hanno pensato a tutto. Tantissimi bagni prima della partenza e il servizio per lasciare la sacca impeccabile e senza code. La partenza ha spaccato il secondo e tantissima gente a fare il tifo. L’unica pecca è che per gli stranieri l’accesso alla chat della maratona e alle foto è praticamente inaccessibile, tutto in cinese e sopratutto è complicato accedere alle app. Alla fine della corsa c’è anche l’ area massaggi… ma niente maglietta finisher
