The Funchal Marathon is a sporting event of an international nature which takes place annually in the city of Funchal and that brings together athletes from many countries, in a trend more pronounced in leisure and recreation not forgetting of course the competitive part.
The previous editions of the Funchal Marathon were a success and the Madeira Athletics Association, advances now with preparations for the new edition that will be held in January.
The Madeira Athletics Association (AARAM) promotes this major international sporting event. This sports event consists of three main races, the Funchal Marathon (42.195,00 meters), the Funchal Half Marathon (21.097,50 meters) and the Mini marathon (8.000 meters). This race will once again be run on a flat course, almost entirely on a closed, attractively landscaped circuit, offering the perfect setting for healthy competition between athletes from different nationalities. When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The location and opening times of the secretariat will be disclosed by early January 2025
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
In case of injury or illness, the organization will refund 50% of the registration fee. The cancellation request must be sent to [email protected] with the presentation of a valid medical certificate. These exceptional requests will be accepted until January 7th for all registrations made within the regular deadlines.
