Join Welser Halbmarathon 2026
The Welser Half Marathon is renowned as one of the fastest half marathons in Europe. The course is flat, officially measured, and designed for personal bests, making it attractive for experienced athletes as well as beginners attempting their first half marathon.
The event features a clearly marked, traffic-free, 7km-loop course through the city, passing local landmarks and finishing near the Stadthalle Wels. The 5 km and 10 km races follow a shorter 5 km loop.
All runners receive a commemorative medal and a starter bag filled with goodies. The family-friendly atmosphere, enthusiastic crowd support, and lively entertainment with music and DJ further enhance the experience.
