Join TRITON 3 Portimao Triathlon 2025
TRITON 3 Portimão triathlon is a competition spread over three consecutive days. Each day you complete one leg of the triathlon.
ABOUT:
TRITON is a new global triathlon series featuring two race formats, TRITON 3 and TRITON 1.
TRITON 3 is a triathlon in a stage like format, taking place across 3 consequitive days.
At TRITON 3 participants have the option of racing the full 3 days or just one or two of the three days.
TRITON 1 is a one day regular triathlon race.
Both formats offer the following:
3 DISTANCES: SHORT (61K), MIDDLE (122K) and LONG (183K)
At both you have the option to race as an individual, by gender and age-group, or as a women only team or a mixed team.
Both official events are TRITON World Series Finals, qualifying events.
Course details
The host hotel is just about 200 meters from the start. While in previous years we've had the start for each day in different venues, we changed for a single venue start / finish right at the Portimão Marina and Beach.
It is a fantastic location with a great beach and plenty of restaurants around.
The fact that you get a chance to focus on one event on each day, and the fact that you can chose to do just one of the days is a highlight in it self.

The finisher medal is a treat on it self and it is made of 3 independent medals, one for each day, but that come together to form a Mandala Medal, making a unique 3 days trophy!

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
Until 183 days (6 months) before race day weekend – of 50% of your registration price. From 182 days, onwards – No Refund.
Entry transfers
Unless specifically stated in official race written communications TRITON WS race entries are non-transferable. Selling of your race entry slot is strictly prohibited. If you do sell your race slot, you will be disqualified from the race and you, as well as, the entrant who purchased your slot will be disqualified from the TRITON WS for a minimum of 2 years.
