Brett Lydd Half Marathon & 20 Mile

Join Brett Lydd Half Marathon & 20 Mile 2026
The race takes place in and around the country lanes to the north of the town of Lydd in the Romney Marsh area of South Kent. The course is flat and fast - so whether you are looking to run your first half marathon, or looking for a race to form part of your spring marathon training, the Lydd Half Marathon is for you. The race utilises electronic chip timing provided by Nice Work. The race will once again enjoy the sponsorship of Brett, the UK’s largest independent construction and building materials company. For more information visit their website here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Lydd.
In addition to attracting particpants from the south east, runners from all over the UK and overseas have enjoyed this fast, flat Half Marathon. The event raises money for the Mayor of Lydd’s Charity Fund which will be looking to help local charities and good causes. As well as the main Half Marathon event, there will be a Children’s Race, open to all youngsters wanting a Sunday Morning run.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
We believe that our policies for deferrals and transfers is one of the most flexible and generous amongst race organisers and, for that reason, we do not offer refunds of race entry fees for illness, injury, or any other reason. In much the same way as you would not expect a refund for a theatre ticket if you were unable to attend, we are unable to offer refunds for race entries sold.
The race information has been found on the official website of the event or through publicly available sources. Always refer to the official website the latest race information. Please let us know if any data is wrong or missing, by emailing us.
