The Tissington Trail Half Marathon has quickly become a beloved event among runners, frequently selling out months ahead of time. To accommodate as many participants as possible, we host the race on two separate dates over one weekend. We are thrilled that it consistently ranks in Runner's World's top 10 UK trail races. The race takes place on the Tissington Trail, a former railway line that stretches 13 miles from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Nestled in stunning countryside, this traffic-free trail provides an ideal setting for a fantastic half marathon. Plus, with a slightly downhill route, gravity gives you a helping hand throughout the run! This is a unique chance to enjoy a half marathon in Derbyshire without tackling any hills.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
We believe that our policies for deferrals and transfers is one of the most flexible and generous amongst race organisers and, for that reason, we do not offer refunds of race entry fees for illness, injury, or any other reason. In much the same way as you would not expect a refund for a theatre ticket if you were unable to attend, we are unable to offer refunds for race entries sold.
