The breathtaking multi-terrain race through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Sussex is back - welcome again to the Rye Ancient Trails. With each twist and turn, this enchanting race never fails to delight.
The stunning course takes the runners through the ancient trails of the High Weald Area, a spectacle that is steadily growing in popularity. The course explores historic woodlands, trails, and serene country lanes, connecting the Norman churches of Rye, Iden, Beckley, Northiam, and Peasmarsh.
If the 30k distance seems daunting, the 15k option offers an equally delightful experience, mirroring the same route until Peasmarsh. The Rye Ancient Trails welcomes runners from all walks of life, be it seasoned athletes or novices in running.

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
We believe that our policies for deferrals and transfers is one of the most flexible and generous amongst race organisers and, for that reason, we do not offer refunds of race entry fees for illness, injury, or any other reason. In much the same way as you would not expect a refund for a theatre ticket if you were unable to attend, we are unable to offer refunds for race entries sold.
