Join Hobart Run The Bridge 2025
The Hobart Run The Bridge fun run and walk is one of Tasmania's premier running events each year. It is held in the capital city of Hobart and sees participants journey over the iconic Tasman Bridge.
Features of the Hobart Run the Bridge include:
BLUNDSTONE ARENA
There's no better start line for the states premier fun run, than the state's premier sporting facility. Runners can use the facilities of Blundstone Arena to warm up and prepare before starting outside.
BELLERIVE
After running along the Bellerive Bluff, the course enters historic Bellerive Quay which offers brilliant coastal views, historical buildings and then runners move onto the new Kangaroo Bay precinct.
CROSSING THE ICONIC TASMAN BRIDGE
Tasmania's busiest and most iconic piece of infrastructure, the Tasman Bridge. At 1396m long, both 5km and 10km participants get to cross it as the only public event each year to have lane closure.
SALAMANCA
With the last few kilometres hugging the Hobart Waterfront, the event finishes on Castray Esplanade at beautiful Salamanca. After your run/walk, head to brunch at any number of cafes.

What is your age policy for entry?
There is no upper or lower age limit for the 1km event The youngest age for the 5km is 7 years old on the day of the event and for the 10km participants need to be at least 10 years of age. For all children under the age of 18, their guardian must enter them and acknowledge they have read and agree with the event waiver before entry will be accepted.
