Highlights

New running course will pass the most beautiful and distinctive places in Vilnius: this year, compared to last year, runners who chose the marathon distance will cover as many as 24.5 new kilometers that did not run last year through the most wonderful streets of Vilnius.

Overview

Thousands of participants will be invited to race on September 8th in Vilnius for as many as seven different lengths, which is as much as two laps more than last year. In addition, for the first time, the marathon will run one lap, so participants will not have to repeat the route. Starting together with half marathon runners, participants will form an incredible river of runners in the main streets of Vilnius.

New marathon race course is 11.5 percent higher than last year - 145m. Trees in the Valakampiai and Vingis park and buildings in the city center will make the marathon run in the shade for more than 20k. It opens great possibilities for a fast and picturesque race.

There are also half marathon, 10k, 5k races on the same day, 1-2k for youth, 200m children’s run.
