

Join Kaunas Marathon

Kaunas Marathon is the annual international running event in Lithuania, Kaunas city.
Kaunas Marathon is meant for everyone despite of their age, profession, beliefs or physical preparation. It is a running festival where professional athletes can reach their personal bests, sport enthusiasts concure their running goals and fans spend entertaining and fun weekend.
We invite all active people from all over the world, not only to participate in the race but also to discover an amazing, historical city of Kaunas.
With regards to your preparedness, you may choose the prestige marathon distance, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, 1.5 km - fun family run and 400 m kids run.
Come here not only to try out your strength, to support the running friends and family members, but also to have a good time together. Here various events, concerts, fairs will take place, which makes this running event a big city fest!

Practicalities
Age Limit
No age limit as long as you have medical lisence to participate in the event. Marathon distance from 18 years old, half-marathon form 16 years old.
Aid Stations
Refreshment stations will be established on the marathon course with energy drinks, water and fruit on offer. The refreshment points will be located at approximately every 2.5 kilometers. There will also be toilets by the course.
Award Medals
Absolute record running winners and prize winners will be presented with the commemorative cups and monetary prizes. Winners and prize-winners of the groups will be awarded special prizes from sponsors. Commemorative medals will be awarded to all participants of the races who cross the finish line within the control time.
