Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run
Join Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run 2025
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) 5K is in its 4edition which will take place on October 5, 2025.
BCAM aims to raise awareness among the population of the danger presented by breast cancer and cancer in general. Studies carried out by Target SARL show that Breast Cancer is a very dangerous threat for more than 90% of Congolese women. Exercise is one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Research has shown that women who exercise have a better quality of life and experience fewer side effects during and after treatment. Exercise has also been shown to improve overall health and well-being, improve mood, reduce fatigue, and increase endurance. Some research suggests that exercise may reduce the risk of breast cancer recurrence.
Come run, raise funds and raise awareness together: 50% of each ticket will be donated to the cancer charity Foundation Bomoko who is fighting for cancer in the DRC since 2017. If you want to donate more, you can do that in the "Add on" section under Donation.
