The Africa Running Show 2026 in Kinshasa, hosted by Global Race Connect in collaboration with Congo River Marathon, is a platform where running, culture, and innovation meet. It brings together athletes, coaches, entrepreneurs, and creators to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of running across Africa and beyond.

Rooted in Africa’s legacy as the home of endurance, ARS reconnects the global running community with its origins—bridging local excellence with international perspectives. More than an event, it is a movement celebrating the continent’s talent, diversity, and potential.

Over one full day, the program features inspirational talks from world-class athletes and sports pioneers, brand activations, cultural performances, wellness and performance clinics, and networking opportunities with race organizers, brands, and athletes from around the world.

On June 6, participants can join the 5K Shake Out Run, followed by the Congo River Marathon weekend, where runners can choose between 10K, 21K, or 42K distances.

New in 2026: ARS is now also accessible virtually, allowing participants from around the world to join and be part of the experience.

ARS 2026 is committed to bringing the world to Africa—and Africa to the world.
