My Half Marathon Experience in the Maldives Running a half marathon in the Maldives was truly unforgettable. The route was surrounded by beautiful ocean views and refreshing sea breeze, which made the challenge more enjoyable and motivating. What’s particular about the half marathon distance (21.1 km) is that it really sits in the middle ground: long enough to push me out of my comfort zone, but still achievable with the right preparation. Unlike a shorter race, I had to carefully manage my pace and energy, especially under the island heat and humidity. At the same time, it wasn’t as overwhelming as a full marathon, instead, it felt like the perfect balance between endurance and enjoyment. Crossing the finish line gave me a strong sense of achievement, not only because of the distance but also because I got to experience it in such a unique location.

This id quite a chalange to run 42km in such a climate, but at the same timer it gives you dubeled satisfaction after copliting it in this conditions. It consist of many laps and gives you the chance to stay im touch with all the other participants and boost each other morale.
