About 28 Zagreb marathon

 Zagreb Marathon is an annual race which takes place in Croatia, Europe. The events includes a marathon race, half marathon, Marathon relay and Garmin 10 K run that starts one hour earlier. Zagreb Marathon route extends through the center of town. Start and finish are right in the center on the main square, and runs on the east to Dubac, and west to Crnomerec. Marathon run two rounds and half-marathon run one. The course flat, easy and certified by AIMS.

Equipment Storage

Participants in the Marathon, Half-marathon and Citizen races can leave their belongings in a wardrobe tent where they will get a lightweight bracelet with the number. You can leave or look for lost and found items at the Marathon Office at the Ban Jelačić Square next to the main stage.

If you come by private transportation, parking in Zagreb on Sundays is free, except in public garages. You can park in the surrounding streets.


Lunch is served on Kurelčeva street 200 meters east of Ban Jelačić Square. Traditional lunch (beans or stew) will be served from 12.00 pm. 


The marathon race limit is 5.30 (five and a half) hours. The half-marathon race has no limit i.e. the limit is as for marathon race 5.30 hours.


The starting number of the Zagreb Marathon is valid as a bus and tram ticket on Saturday and Sunday (13th and 14th October 2018) throughout the city.
