Winter Run Istanbul returns to Bağdat Avenue for its fourth edition in Türkiye, turning Bağdat Avenue and Sahilyolu into a traffic-free corridor. It is part of the global WinterRun series staged in major cities worldwide. Caddebostan Beach is the foyer and start for a flat, EU-certified course with chip timing to international standards. Caddebostan is one of Istanbul’s busiest amateur running routes. Age categories and company categories are ranked separately. Participation has climbed from 3,500 to 6,500 and then 8,000, making it Europe’s most popular winter run. The course suits athletes testing form during the quieter winter calendar and is planned as a main race of the season. The Şaşkınbakkal Event Area hosts a Winter Fair with sports activities, talks, refreshments, product experiences, nonstop music, and prize-winning contests throughout the weekend. The event welcomes competitive athletes, casual runners, walkers, and families along Bağdat Avenue. Its aim is to encourage outdoor activity in winter and offer a lively, sporty day for all.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The bib numbers, which participants are required to wear throughout the race, will be distributed on the dates specified on the Winter Run Instagram page and two days before the race. Kits will not be distributed on the morning of the race.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Participation fees will not be refunded in the event of non-attendance or cancellation of registration.
