About Virgin Gorda Half Marathon

The Virgin Island's Toughest Half Marathon! Can You Conquer The BEAST?

The British Virigin Islands (BVI) are territories of Her Majesty's land, but aside from scattered offerings of fish and chips, there's little that's overtly British. Most travelers come to hoist a jib and dawdle among the 50-plus isles. With steady trade winds, calm currents, protected bays and pirate-ship bars, this is one of the world's sailing hot spots and is home to the Virgin Gorda Half Marathon.

The Virgin Gorda Half Marathon course is undoubtably one of the toughest road race in the BVI and possibly in the Virgin Islands. 13.1 miles of undulating roadway follow the beautiful contours of the island of Virgin Gorda.

Along the route, enjoy amazing scenery and water/sports drink stops all along the way. At mile 10 there’s even an iced towel station that cools you off after you finish the Coppermine leg! Each of our stops are sponsored by local groups who receive a donation from your entry fee to their cause. Not only are you doing your own body good, but supporting community groups as well!

100% of the proceeds from our sponsors and participants go directly into the community! Thank you for your participation!
