Join Vietnam Jungle Marathon
VJM takes place in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, near the capital city of Hanoi. This is an area where time stands still, home to minority villages, ancient jungle, soaring limestone peaks, waterfalls, vibrant rice paddy fields.
Course details
This is a very challenging 70km ultra-trail Marathon with plenty of climbs and descents and gain of over 3,000m. It will take runners through all of the landscapes that the Nature Reserve has to offer.
50 km
Our 50km offers an ultra distance route of extreme beauty. The start area is in beautiful Ban Leo. Runners will first enjoy a loop around the ethnic minority houses here, before heading into great single track trail. A short jungle section will then lead you to another great descent down to the broad valley dotted with villages. Once down in the valley floor you will run among paddies and on mixed, runnable paths with amazing views all around.
25 km
The 50km offers an ultra distance route of extreme beauty. It cuts out some of the toughest parts of our longest route, but make no mistake – this is still a very challenging ultra!
10 km
You will see many of the beautiful landscapes of the famously stunning Vietnam Jungle Marathon trails, but you will not see the famously hard VJM climbs! Ideal for newbie trail runners.
