Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand with an altitude of 2,565 meters. Known as the roof of Thailand, it is located in a national park, in Chiang Mai province, north of Thailand.
Doi Inthanon is known as one of the top tourist attractions of Thailand that can’t be missed. The park is cooler all year round. The flora consists of the tropical rain forest, evergreen pine, and mixed deciduous teak and dipterocarp forest which are considered to be the most pristine in the country. Ultratrail Thailand has been established in collaboration with the Sport Authority of Thailand and other government institutions with the intention of providing a global-standard trail running race.
