The only race that allows you to run on the natural and cultural jewel of the Angkor temples, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The only ultra event in Cambodia! Approved by the Ministry of Culture, and the Cambodian National Olympic Committee.

Angkor, located in the northern Cambodian province of Siem Reap, is one of the main archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. The Temples of Angkor – the soul of the Khmer Kingdom, serve as national pride and source of inspiration to the Cambodians. Its beauty has always fascinated travellers from around the world.

The sixth edition of the event offers 8 different formats: 100km, 64km, 42km, 32km, 16km, 8km trail races, as well as 16km hiking and walking and 16km Nordic walking. 

Participants will experience an extraordinary adventure that will surely be hard to forget!

You will receive a T-Shirt when collecting your bib.
After the race at the finish line, a commemorative medal will be presented to all the participants.
For the 100 UTA, the 64 Bayon Trail and the 42 Marathon Trail, every runner passing the finish line will receive a finisher T-Shirt.

Transport

Yes, there are shuttle buses from the Elephant Terrace to the different starting lines. They will take the runners to their respective starting lines after the race briefing. There is a 20 to 40-minute transfer depending on the race.

Frequently asked questions

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?

You will be able to receive your bib number at the Angkor Paradise Hotel in Siem Reap (address: National road N°6 (Airport Road), Phum Sala Kanseng, Sangkat Svay Dangkoum, Siem Reap): – Thursday, 20 January 2022, from 10AM to 7PM, – Friday, 21 January 2022, from 9AM to 6PM.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?

Yes, but your friend will have to present an authorization letter from you with a copy of your ID/passport and your medical certificate/license.

Is the medical certificate mandatory for the races?

YES, it is mandatory and you will have to present it at the bib distribution site. Participation in the races is subject to the presentation of a valid license - proving the possession of a medical certificate that authorizes the participant to the competitive practice. For runners who do not have a license, they must present a medical certificate or a copy issued no later than January 14, 2021, and dated less than one year from the event (preferably by a sport specialized doctor).

Are the UTA events qualifying for the UTMB?

YES, on certain tests. ITRA has upgraded its race evaluation service. This service introduces a major update of the scale of points (from now on a scale of 1 to 6 points): That’s 4 points for UTA 100/3 points for the Bayon Angkor Trail -BT 64 – 1 point for the Marathon Trail. The number of points is also dependent on the points of refueling.

Do we need a visa to come to Cambodia?

Yes, a visa is mandatory. You will need a passport with at least a 6-month validity after your departure and a picture of yourself. The visa can be purchased upon your arrival at the airport for 30$. Please make sure your passport is within the date limits.
