Medieval Village, Turin
The Turin Half Marathon begins at the Medieval Village, in Torino, and runs in a 21.1km loop that ends at the same place. The route runs through Corso Lecce, and then moves onto Via Giovanni Servars, going past the Via Pietro Cossa and heading towards Corso Marche. The athletes then head onto Vale Certosa and go into a complicated turn-filled route around Collegno, before heading back out, over and across the Dora Riparia river and onto the Var SS 24, that takes them to Via Pianezza, and all the way back to the finish line at Medieval Village.
The Turin Half Marathon is one of the oldest marathons of the world and is destination for runners from all over the world. The starting point is usual medieval village in the beautiful Valentino Park, and destination is Entertainment Center Moncalieri.
