Route description:
Starting off in the town of Makeni you will pass through the villages of children whom you are raising funds for. Passing stunning landscape featuring the Mabole river, Yelisanda junction and the Wusum Hill.
The Sierra Leone Marathon will be run on both urban and rural roads. The majority of these are hard-packed mud roads, but also some tarmac. The route will take in some of the most beautiful scenes of northern Sierra Leone.
