Join The ONE British PB 5k, 10k and Half Marathon Run 2025

Join the inaugural ONE Run, offering a choice of 5k, 10k, or half marathon distances. In collaboration with ONE Pickleball, this event takes you through a picturesque park run and lively festival atmosphere. Participants will receive an impressive medal, enjoy treats and refreshments, and have the chance to win prizes.

The route meanders through sports grounds and beautiful countryside. Encourage your friends, family, or colleagues to participate, as spaces are limited and these events tend to fill up fast. Under 13-year-olds can participate in the 5k for free when accompanied by a registered adult.

The accompanying ONE British Pickleball GP Grand Finals Festival, known as P1AY, is a unique weekend celebration blending pickleball, sports, music, and community vibes. Experience exhilarating championship matches, engaging fitness activities, and a dynamic festival environment. It caters to everyone, whether you're a pickleball aficionado, fitness devotee, or simply seeking a fun outing.

The festival extends beyond the tournament, evolving into an evening of music and celebration. Dance to tribute performances of iconic tracks from the 80s and 90s, featuring acts that capture the spirit of artists like Take That, Bon Jovi, Madness, Beyoncé, Kaiser Chiefs, Simply Red, Neil Diamond, and Bob Marley. Enjoy DJ sets throughout the day, culminating in unforgettable live performances under the evening sky. The diverse lineup promises a musical experience for all tastes, from pop and rock to reggae and soul.

How do I get to the race location?

keyboard_arrow_down

- By Car - If approaching from London or the M25 (Junction 10), remain on the bypass (A3) until you reach the exit signed to the Cathedral and University. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to Royal Surrey County Hospital and University, Manor Park. Follow the signs to the Royal Surrey County Hospital for 1 mile, and approach Surrey Sports Park on the left. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Richard Meyjes Road, which leads to the entrance of Surrey Sports Park. - By Train - Guildford is on the main line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth. Half-hourly train services run from Guildford to Waterloo, with journey times of approximately 40 minutes. - By Bus - Stagecoach buses have exclusive access to the University of Surrey’s Stag Hill and Manor Park campuses offering a cheaper and more frequent bus service between our sites and the town centre via the railway station. We typically have a cut off time of 2 hours to complete the 5k/10k races from when the event starts. 3 hours for half marathons. Walking part of a 5k event is typically fine but the 10k races are mostly for running (with a bit of walking/jogging if necessary!). If doing a virtual run you have the luxury of completing your event anytime, anywhere and for however long throughout the given event period!

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, we love too see dogs running with their owners! Please ensure your dog is on a short lead/harness and that you are careful on the course and respect other runners and park users.

Can I wear headphones?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes we do allow this but please note it is your responsibility to make sure you can hear what's going on around you when running, including marshals and general public. Please keep the volume at a level whereby you can hear any important announcements that may be made.
