Stavanger Marathon starts and ends in the central city square outside Norways oldest Cathedral. The course goes out along the beautiful Hafrsfjord, where runners pass the memorial "Swords in Rock. With great variation in length and route the Stavanger Marathon festival of running provides a challenge suitable for all!

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The start number distribution will this year take place at Clarion Hotel Stavanger, meeting room Aroma, 3. floor. Opening hours will be Friday August 30 at 12:30-19:30 and Saturday August 31 at 07-13.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, that is possible. Please forward your sms with bib number to the person picking it up.
How do I get to the race location?
The 5k starts next to Mariero train station. I'ts the last 5k of the marathon course. The marathons starts and finish in the middle of the city, just outside the cathedral.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
If you want to reduce the distance, log in to “MY PAGE” and select “EDIT”. If you can’t run yourself, you can transfer your start number for the distance to someone else in this way: Give the new participant your username and password. He/she logs in and change the personal information.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
