About Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon

The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is an established niche marathon situated on the stunning island of Jersey in the British owned Channel Islands.

The race, which is split into three categories, Marathon, Relay Race and 3K Fun Run, attracted some 2,500 entrants in 2016 with over 50% of marathon runners coming from off the Island.

With a professional yet friendly atmosphere the event welcomes a variety of runner types, elite athletes compete for prize money and times, while corporate teams vie for the prestige of winning the trophy and many others compete to do something truly amazing for the benefit of others.

As a firm fixture in islander’s calendars, all runners can expect huge support from local residents around the entire route, and to quote a recent runner ‘ The Jersey Marathon is a small race with a very big atmosphere’.

"The Marathon running route was absolutely stunning, the supporters and marshals along the way were fantastic. This was my first time in Jersey, and I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend on the Island – I don’t think I’ve ever met a friendlier bunch of people. " Samantha, London
