About Saint Sebastian 100

The name of the Patron Saint of Athletes is Saint Sebastian. The term ‘Patron’ is used in Christian religions, including the Roman Catholic religion, to describe holy and virtuous men and women who are considered to be a defender of a specific group of people or of a country. Prayers are considered more likely to be answered by asking a patron, such as Saint Sebastian the Patron Saint of Athletes for intercession on their behalf. Because as a he was a centurion he was extremely fit and able to withstand long physical endurance.

Saint Sebastian 100 is a old fashion 10 mile loop run over Thanksgiving weekend. Located in the St. Sebastian Preserve State Park, Sebastian Florida.
