Generali Run The Sun – Ascona-Locarno Marathon is a running event taking place in the Ascona-Locarno region of southern Switzerland. Positioned as the first marathon of the Swiss running season, the event offers race distances for participants of different ages and abilities, including a marathon (42.2 km), half marathon, 10 km run, 10 km walking and Nordic walking, 5 km race, and a Kids Run. Courses pass through the Lake Maggiore area, combining lakeside promenades, urban streets and natural landscapes, with Piazza Grande in Locarno serving as the main start and finish location for most events.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Friday from 16:00 to 22:00 (subject to change) Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 (subject to change) Location: Via Alla Peschiera 9, 6600 Locarno. Race bib collection on race day is not possible!
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registratin fees are non-refundable. The organiser may modify, postpone, interrupt or cancel the event due to force majeure. In such case registration fees will not be refunded.
