The Run Festival Tossa de Mar, has something for all levels of athletes. The 10 or 21km road races are characterized by a demanding course with beautiful views of the Catalan Costa Brava and the Mediterranean Sea, with a finish line at the side of a 13th Century medieval fortress and the Big Beach. For those looking for something a bit easier, the organization also offers a 5km race exclusively within the urban nucleus, with an accessible flat route.
The trail races also boast views of the Mediterranean Sea and the natural environment of Tossa de Mar.
Moreover, the organization offers participants a daycare service for children, a wardrobe service, dressing rooms, showers and a swimming pool in the sports area, free parking area, physiotherapy service, a provisioning at the end of the race and a finisher medal for all participants. This is all in the interest of providing a popular and familiar event, where runners and their companions can have a great sports and beach weekend.
Course details
Trail: 8km (trail and walk) and 17km
The route will be duly signposted and authorized. Supply points: at km 5, 11 and 16 of the Half Marathon, km 5 of the race 10k and km. 3 of the 5k race. The organization may modify the route, for reasons beyond and / or force majeure.
The trail will have 2 supplies in its long distance and 1 for the short route.
The maximum time to finish the race is:
2h 35′ for the Half Marathon and Trails,
1h 15′ for 10km and 45 ‘for the 5k race.
The race closure vehicle will be maintained proportionally at this time, athletes who do not comply with the maximum required time limits will remain out of the race.
