Enjoy this scenic marathon with friends and family members cheering you on!


Most of the half marathon is run on roads on either side of the banks of the River Moy. Just over one mile of the course will take participants through Belleek Woods. There is an excellent trail surface on this part of the scenic terrain, which is used daily by local runners and walkers in hail, rain or shine!

The event brings a brilliant atmosphere for first-time and return runners while family members, friends and supporters will be able to see competitors throughout the course.

Practicalities

Accommodation

Nearest to finish / start line is Crockets on the Quay and the Ice House.

After Race Services

At the finish line runners will also be provided with refreshments and fruit. Toilet facilities are available at the start, on route and at the finish line. There are first aiders and ambulance services on the route. A limited number of showers and changing facilities are available at the Rugby Club.

18 years of age or over

Aid Stations

Four water stations will be positioned along the course for runners.

Award Medals

There are also prizes for the 1st Male and Female in the following categories Over 35,40’s,45’s,50,55,60,65’s.There will be pacers for 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10 and 2:20.The first 3 men and the first 3 women past the finish line for the race receive a prize. Technical finishers t-shirt and finishers medal are provided.

Parking

There are two options for parking, on Creggs Road from the Rugby Club to the Sligo Road or at the Glasgow sheds (opposite Crockets on the Quay).

Refreshments

There will be complimentary refreshments and snacks supplied at the clubhouse for runners.
