The Mudskipper Sammamish Open Water Swim is an annual open water swimming event held at Lake Sammamish State Park, located just east of Seattle in Issaquah, Washington. Hosted by Mudskipper Events, this race offers swimmers a chance to compete on a clearly marked one-kilometer diamond course, with options to swim distances of 1K, 3K, or 5K by completing the required number of laps.
The event takes place at Sunset Beach on the lake’s southern end, featuring a mass start for all swimmers at the same time.
Supported by eco-friendly sponsor Sumarpo Wetsuits, the Sammamish Open Water Swim encourages participation from swimmers of all backgrounds, emphasizing community, environmental responsibility, and the thrill of outdoor racing.
