This year’s Montafon Arlberg Marathon powered by Sparkasse again promises athletic peak performances complete with a breath-taking mountain backdrop. On idyllic forest and Alpine trails – far from any street traffic – the most beautiful mountain marathon in Western Austria leads from the community of Silbertal in the Montafon via Winterjöchle at 1,935 metres above sea level to St. Anton am Arlberg. The unique route through the European Conservation Area Verwall in the border region between Vorarlberg and Tyrol makes athletes hearts’ beat faster. Feelings of pure joy.

Practicalities
After Race Services
In the finish area are enough shower and changing facilities available. We especially recommend the refreshing cooling in the mountain water of the Litz. PS: don’t forget your towels and swimming equipment!
