Join Marathon of the Cathedrals
The Marathon of the Cathedrals runs in Apulia by the sea from Barletta to Giovinazzo.
Over a thousand marathon runners will conquer the historic centres of five Apulian towns, all overlooking the sea, with five of the most brilliant examples of cathedrals from the Apulian Romanesque period, an architectural period between the 11th and the 13th century with civil and religious buildings of high artistic value. The Marathon of Cathedrals chooses the snail as its symbol to indicate that it runs with professionals, but it also goes slowly to enjoy all that the territory has to offer.

Age Limit
Registration for the competition is allowed to athletes who have reached the age of 20 on race day.
Aid Stations
Throughout the route from the start to the finish, with fixed and mobile stations.The medical service is connected with the emergency areas.Near the finish area there is a fixed station for injured athletes.

For all the finishers.
Equipment Storage
Marathon: athletes will be allowed to use the kit bags provided by the organization. Each athlete can leave the bag by 8:30 am in Barlletta, in the start area, and can find it in Giovinazzo in the finish area. Half Marathon: each athlete can leave the bag by 10:30 am in Bisceglie, in the start area, and can find it in Giovinazzo in the finish area.
Maximum Time
The time limit to finish the 42.195 km is fixed in 6 hours and 3 hours for the half marathon.
Parking
The parking area is in Giovinazzo, at "Area Mercatale".

Refreshments
Refreshement stations with water are available on the course every 5 kilometers starting from km 5. Sports drinks, fruit and cookies will be available from the 20th kilometer.
Timing
The timing service will be carried out by means of a microchip that allows recording the official time and the net time achieved.
Transport
All the athletes can take the shuttle buses that start from Giovinazzo (near the Parking Area, at "Area Mercatale") from 6.00 to 7.30 am. (marathon) and from 9.15 to 10.00 am. (half marathon)
Refund Policy
The athlete can transfer his registration to another athlete for bib purchased also for editions 2020/2021. The substitute must pay 20 euros for administrative fees.

At the marathon village on friday 6th or saturday 7th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, personally with an id document and the letter of confirmation
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, the race numbers can also be picked up by a third person, showing the specific authorization form signed by the legitimate owner of the number.
How do I get to the race location?
