Liberty Marathon

Take part in this unique experience in the footsteps of the D-Day Heroes! The D-Day Landings Marathon, Normandy Running Festival is a running event that was created in 1988 in order to pay tribute to the D-Day Landings events in France, with races going through the main landings places, such as Juno and Sword Beach, Pegasus Bridge and Ouistreham Casino.

With 20 000 runners every year, the event is the perfect demonstration of the tribute to history with its running courses and a great reflection of the Normandy region. Program of this popular sporting event in tribute to D-Day includes a unique range of events for all runners, according to their level of skill and their desires.
