We present the sixth edition of the Raiffeisen Lema Trail, a beautiful uphill race that will take you from the pretty village of Miglieglia in Malcantone to the summit of Monte Lema.
Nestled between the lakes of Lugano and Maggiore and the valleys of Luino, Monte Lema stands out over Italian Switzerland with its 1624 metres and dominates a panorama that embraces the valleys of Ticino and beyond.
From Miglieglia a modern cable car climbs the slopes of Monte Lema and in just 10 minutes takes visitors to the summit. Along the way, suspended in the air, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama that opens up to infinity.
For those who try this route without taking the cable car, the travel time will be a little longer.
The race is scheduled to start at 10:45 near the Monte Lema cable car (where there will be several free parking spaces available) and after an initial stretch on asphalt you enter the path and are in direct contact with nature. You climb for about 950 meters before reaching the summit of Monte Lema where the finish line will be located (weather permitting).
A fast, scenic and decidedly challenging route.
The race will be held on Sunday 27 April 2025 (in all weathers) and will open a long season of mountain races and outdoor training in contact with nature.
